7:30pm Fri 18th October Lane End Players presents Nell Gwynn
The Lane End Players are delighted to announce the Autumn production of Nell Gwynn by Jessica Swale.
Nell Gwynn is a witty and lively play with music and dance about the life of Nell Gwynn, the celebrated orange seller who became one of the first women on the English stage and the mistress of King Charles II. Virtually all the characters are real people from history, and the events in the play are based, with embellishments, on real life.
We have a great cast- a strong team of experienced actors, including some new and nearly new faces and some who have been treading the Lane End village hall boards for some time.
